Get access to Marketing Miner’s features and data directly in your AI assistant (ChatGPT or Claude) via MCP. This lets you optimize your website and make important decisions based on data, not on AI guesswork. In all the guides below, sample values of OAuth Client ID and OAuth Client Secret are shown. You must insert your own, which you’ll find on this page<\/a> in your account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So let’s take a look at how to connect Marketing Miner MCP to ChatGPT, Claude, and Claude Code step by step.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to connect ChatGPT<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

1. Turn on developer mode<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In ChatGPT, go to Settings \u2192 Apps \u2192 Advanced settings<\/strong>, or open this link directly: Open advanced connector settings<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Turn on the Developer Mode<\/strong> toggle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Create a new app<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Create app<\/strong> button will appear at the top. Click it and fill in:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Name<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Check I understand and want to continue<\/strong> and click Create<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Then click Sign in with Marketing Miner<\/strong> and confirm signing in to your account. After a successful connection, it will show in green that the connector is connected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
5. Use it in chat<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
Go to the chat, click +<\/strong>, choose More<\/strong> and select Marketing Miner<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Then you can enter a question, e.g. “What is the traffic of the Amazon.com website in US?”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
6. Done<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
Everything is set up and working. You can now use Marketing Miner in your ChatGPT.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to connect Claude<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
1. Open the connector setup<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the Claude app, go to Settings \u2192 Connectors<\/strong> and click Add custom connector<\/strong>. Alternatively, open this link directly: Open the connector setup in Claude<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n
2. Fill in the MCP details<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the dialog, fill in the following fields:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Name (connector name)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Marketing Miner<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n
Remote MCP Server URL<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Connect the connector<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
Click Add<\/strong>. The connector will appear in the list – next to it, click Connect<\/strong>. The connection is now done.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
4. Test the connection<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the chat, type for example “What is the traffic of the Amazon.com website in US?” – Claude should offer to use the Marketing Miner tool.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to connect Claude Code<\/h3>\n\n\n

\n                Do you already have Marketing Miner connected in the web version of Claude?<\/strong> If you connected Marketing Miner in Claude.ai and you’re signed in to Claude Code with the same account, you probably already have the connector there automatically. Just enter the \/mcp<\/code> command in Claude Code – if Marketing Miner appears in the list, you’re done and can skip the steps below. If it’s not there, continue with the guide.            <\/div>\n        <\/div>\n        <\/div>\n\n\n
1. Check your Claude Code version<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
Connecting with pre-filled OAuth credentials requires Claude Code version 2.1.30 or newer<\/strong>. You can check the version with the command:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
claude --version<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n
If you have an older version, update it with the command:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
npm install -g @anthropic-ai\/claude-code<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n
2. Add the MCP server<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the terminal, run the following command. The secret key is passed directly via an environment variable, so you don’t have to enter it manually. The -s user<\/strong><\/code> switch ensures the connector will be available across all your projects.<\/p>\n\n\n

Claude Code may ask whether the client has a secret. Choose the option “Yes, has a secret”<\/strong> – it will take the key from the MCP_CLIENT_SECRET variable. At the “Do you want to proceed?”<\/strong> prompt, confirm Yes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
3. Restart Claude Code<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
Claude Code loads MCP servers only at startup, so the currently running session doesn’t yet see the connector you just added. To verify it’s saved correctly, use the command:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
claude mcp list<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n
Then restart Claude Code – end the session (press Ctrl+C twice<\/strong> or type the \/exit<\/strong><\/code> command) and start it again with the claude<\/strong><\/code> command.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
4. Sign in via OAuth<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the session, enter the \/mcp<\/strong><\/code> command, select marketing-miner<\/strong> and choose Authenticate<\/strong> to complete the OAuth sign-in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Claude Code should open a browser with the sign-in. If the browser doesn’t open by itself, copy the link (URL)<\/strong> shown in the terminal and paste it manually into your browser.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This links your account with Marketing Miner. Then close the browser and return to Claude Code, where you should now have Marketing Miner MCP successfully connected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
5. Test the connection<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
